Nutella and Strawberry Arepa — Sweet After-School Treat That Feels Like Dessert
When they come home hungry and need something sweet, this is the answer. Nutella and fresh strawberries on a warm arepa — it feels like dessert but it's an after-school snack, and kids can make it themselves.
Ingredients
- 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
- 2 tbsp Nutella
- 6–8 fresh strawberries, sliced
- Powdered sugar (optional)
How to Make It
- Warm arepas in toaster or dry skillet 1–2 minutes.
- Spread Nutella over each warm arepa (the warmth makes it extra creamy).
- Slice strawberries thin.
- Arrange strawberry slices over Nutella.
- Dust with powdered sugar if using. Serve immediately.
Why It Works
The warm arepa slightly melts the Nutella into a silky spread — it tastes indulgent without being complicated. Strawberries add brightness and a little nutrition. This is the snack kids will ask for by name.
