Wrapped Turkey and Cheese Arepa for Busy Family Days
Real Food That Keeps Up With Your Day
Some days don't have a sit-down meal in them. Sports practice, school pickup, errands, car rides — and everyone needs to eat. A wrapped turkey and cheese arepa is the on-the-go meal that actually works.
It's warm, filling, naturally gluten-free, and takes less than five minutes to put together. Heat the arepa, add turkey and cheese, wrap it in foil, and go.
What You Need
1 or 2 Zavor Colombian arepa/s
2–3 slices deli turkey
1–2 slices of cheese
Optional: mustard, mayo, or avocado inside
Foil or parchment paper for wrapping
How to Pack It
Toast your Zavor arepa/s until warm and lightly golden.
Add turkey and cheese on top or split and stuff the arepa (Optional: add a second arepa on top of the toppings if you prefer to not split the arepa).
Wrap tightly in foil to keep it warm.
Pack in a bag or lunchbox and go.
Food Safety Note
For best quality, enjoy warm filled arepas within 2 hours, or pack them in an insulated container if you need to hold them longer on a busy day.
Why Arepas Work On-the-Go
Most on-the-go foods fall apart, get soggy, or need reheating. A wrapped arepa holds its shape, travels well, and tastes good warm or at room temperature. It's real food that keeps up with a busy family day — without the drive-through.
