September 01, 2026

Category: On-the-Go  |  Ready in 8 minutes  |  Serves 1 adult or 2 kids  |  Naturally gluten-free

What You Need

  • 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
  • 3 slices deli turkey
  • 1 oz havarti cheese, sliced
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • A few baby spinach leaves

How to Make It

  1. Warm the arepas in the toaster on high, 2-3 cycles.
  2. Spread cranberry sauce on one arepa.
  3. Layer the turkey, havarti and spinach on top.
  4. Close with the second arepa and press in a dry pan until the cheese melts, 3-4 minutes.
  5. Wrap in paper; the melted cheese and cranberry hold it together for the road.

About This Recipe

Turkey and cranberry is the day-after-Thanksgiving sandwich, but it's too good to save for once a year. Creamy havarti melts into a glue that keeps it together on the go.
