September 02, 2026

Category: On-the-Go  |  Ready in 10 minutes  |  Serves 1 adult or 2 kids  |  Naturally gluten-free

What You Need

  • 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
  • 3 oz sliced cooked porchetta
  • 3 tbsp Italian salsa verde (parsley-caper-anchovy)
  • A few arugula leaves

How to Make It

  1. Warm the porchetta slices.
  2. Warm the arepas in the toaster on high, 2-3 cycles.
  3. Spread salsa verde on one arepa.
  4. Layer the porchetta and arugula on top.
  5. Close and press firmly, wrap in paper; the herby sauce keeps it together.

About This Recipe

Porchetta — herb-and-fennel-stuffed roast pork — is a central Italian street-food star, sold from vans and eaten in a roll. Bright green salsa verde cuts the richness and glues the sandwich.
