Piri-Piri Shrimp Arepa — Gluten-Free Portuguese Dinner

What You Need

  • 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled
  • 2 tbsp piri-piri sauce (gluten-free)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Lemon wedges and parsley, to finish

How to Make It

  1. Melt the butter with the garlic in a hot pan, 1 minute.
  2. Add the shrimp and piri-piri sauce; cook, tossing, until the shrimp are pink and curled, 4 minutes.
  3. Warm the arepas in the toaster on high, 2-3 cycles.
  4. Spoon the shrimp and pan sauce over each.
  5. Finish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
