Pepperoni and Mozzarella Arepa — Pizza Lunchbox for Gluten-Free Kids
Pepperoni and melted mozzarella on a warm arepa with a spoonful of marinara — all the pizza flavors kids love, naturally gluten-free and lunchbox-ready in five minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
- 2 tbsp marinara sauce
- 2 oz shredded mozzarella
- 10–12 slices mini pepperoni
- Pinch of dried oregano
How to Make It
- Toast arepas until warm and golden.
- Spread marinara sauce over each arepa.
- Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
- Warm in a pan or toaster oven 2–3 minutes until cheese melts. Dust with oregano and pack.
Why It Works
Pizza arepa is one of the easiest ways to get a gluten-free kid excited about their lunchbox. The flavors are completely familiar, the arepa is a better base than any gluten-free pizza crust, and it travels well wrapped in foil or parchment — warm or room temperature.
