Kid-friendly: a 10-year-old can make this one alone — no stove.

What You Need

  • 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
  • 4 tbsp sunflower seed butter
  • 1/2 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

How to Make It

  1. Warm the arepas in the toaster on high, 2-3 cycles, then let cool for a minute.
  2. Spread sunflower butter over each arepa.
  3. Lay the apple slices on top.
  4. Dust with cinnamon and eat.

About This Recipe

Sunflower seed butter is the nut-free stand-in that makes this classroom-safe — same creamy texture as peanut butter, no allergen worry. Apple and cinnamon do the rest.
