What You Need
- 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ tsp paprika
- Fresh parsley
How to Make It
- Sauté garlic in a small skillet with a drizzle of olive oil, 1 minute.
- Add crushed tomatoes, cumin, and paprika. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Make two wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each.
- Cover and cook 4–5 minutes until whites are set but yolk is still soft.
- Toast arepas, spoon shakshuka over each, garnish with parsley.
