Baked Eggs Leeks Gruyère Arepa — Gentle Brunch Bake

What You Need

  • 2 Zavor & Co gluten-free arepas
  • 1 leek, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 oz gruyère cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp butter

How to Make It

  1. Soften the leek in the butter over low heat until silky, 6 minutes.
  2. Spread in a small baking dish, pour over the cream, make two wells and crack in the eggs.
  3. Scatter with gruyère and bake at 375F until the whites set, 8 minutes.
  4. Warm the arepas in the toaster on high, 2-3 cycles.
  5. Spoon the eggs, leeks and cheese over each arepa.
