I was born and raised in Colombia, where the rhythm of the morning always started with corn. Arepas were the very first food I ever learned to make. For over 35 years, my hands have remembered that same motion, pressing the dough just the way my mother taught me.
When I moved to the States, I wanted to keep that tradition alive. I spent years perfecting my recipe, carefully adapting it to high-quality American ingredients while fiercely protecting the soul and authentic texture of a true Colombian arepa.
I started Zavor & Co. because I wanted to share this piece of my heritage with families right here in the Lehigh Valley. Every arepa we make is a warm invitation to our table - from my family to yours.

How do I heat my Zavor arepas?
We've made it incredibly simple. Take them straight from the freezer and pop them into your toaster on a medium-high setting for about 10 minutes. They'll come out perfectly golden, warm, and ready to enjoy. No thawing required.
Are they really safe for Celiacs?
Absolutely. Our arepas are produced in a 100% dedicated gluten-free kitchen right here in the Lehigh Valley. No wheat or gluten-containing ingredients ever cross our threshold, ensuring a completely safe, worry-free breakfast for your family.
How long do they last?
Since we use zero preservatives, they are meant to be kept frozen. They will stay fresh and delicious in your freezer for several months. If you move them to the fridge, please enjoy them within 5 to 7 days.
Can I freeze the arepas?
Yes! In fact, we deliver them frozen specifically so you can keep them in your freezer. Just pull out exactly what you need each morning and toast them directly from frozen.

Delivery is completely free when you order 2 or more packs (like our Family or Bulk subscriptions). If you just want to try a single Starter Pack, there is a small $5 delivery fee to cover our local route.
How easy is it to cancel a subscription?
There are no strings attached. You can pause, modify, or cancel your Family or Bulk subscription at any time through your online account. We want our arepas to make your mornings easier, not add stress.
